Clarity 66 is the full‑range floor‑standing realization of everything we set out to achieve with the Clarity series: extreme precision, effortless dynamics, and distortion pushed below the threshold of audibility. It’s designed to play deep, clean, and controlled without changing character when the music gets demanding.
Clarity 66 is built as a true 2-way design focused on coherence, timing, and a crystal-clear midrange. The two woofers run in parallel, sharing the load for higher headroom, deeper linear bass and dramatically lower distortion. As the two woofers are identical and always play the exact same frequencies, every last drop of punch and dynamics is maintained. Additionally, with just one crossover region, phase is easier to manage, and the vocal band stays intact. Images snap into place, voices feel immediate, and the soundstage holds steady across a wide listening area.
Usually, designing a floor-standing speaker with this amount of bass extension as a pure 2-way speaker would require too many compromises in the midrange, as the two woofers would struggle to play the deepest bass without modulating or distorting the midrange. However, due to the performance parameters of the PURIFI USHINDI woofers, this problem has been solved.
As such, the design of the Clarity 66 is simple, but executed at the highest level, so you hear the full extent of the recording and none of the system. Effectively, what you end up with is all the advantages from a classic 2-way system, combined with the heft and low-end extension from the best 3-way systems.

The Clarity 66s contain a great deal of groundbreaking audio technology. The same could be said of the Clarity 6.2 and 4.2; in that sense, this floorstanding speaker from Radiant Acoustics is 'simply' more of the same. However, some nuance is required. MEASUREMENTS
The Clarity speakers were measured at a height of 3.7 m above the floor in a large hall using PURIFI’s proprietary measurement setup. A calibrated GRAS 46AC microphone was used.
CLARITY 66 SPL & IMPEDANCE
The free field measurement at 2.5 m distance and near-field as well as mic-in-the-box measurements were post-processed to a synthesized anechoic SPL response with high resolution down to below 20Hz.
CLARITY 66 HORIZONTAL POLAR RESPONSE
The horizontal polar response at the tweeter height was recorded in 10-degree steps. The plot shows the response normalized to the Listening Window (i.e. average over 0-30 deg).
HARMONIC DISTORTION
The measurement was done with a particularly low-noise, high-sensitivity microphone (GRAS 46HL). We believe the rise in high-frequency distortion is due to our equipment and not the speaker itself.

What does “low distortion” mean in practice?
Low distortion means hearing more of the music and less of the loudspeaker itself.
In practice, a low-distortion loudspeaker reproduces sound with greater clarity, precision and control, even at higher listening levels. Vocals retain their natural character, instruments remain clearly separated, and bass stays articulate and controlled without sounding compressed or exaggerated.
It also contributes to a more effortless and immersive listening experience. Complex recordings remain open and coherent, while subtle details and dynamic contrasts are reproduced with greater realism and transparency. Because the speakers add less unwanted coloration and compression, the presentation remains relaxed and natural over longer listening sessions.
How do the Clarity speakers compare sonically?
All three loudspeaker models share the same Radiant Acoustics DNA: ultra-low distortion, exceptional clarity, natural tonal balance and wide, immersive sound staging. The difference is not in philosophy, but in scale, bass extension and dynamic capability.

Clarity 6.2
Building on the strengths of the 4.2, the slightly larger Clarity 6.2 delivers greater scale, deeper bass and a more effortless presentation. Compared to the more compact 4.2, it offers increased bass authority and weight, greater dynamic headroom and a fuller, more relaxed sound while retaining the speed, precision and low-distortion character of the Clarity series. Ideal for medium-to-large rooms.

What room size suits Clarity 66?
Following our Scandinavian acoustic philosophy, Clarity 66 is optimized for typical living spaces that are not overly dampened. In a heavily treated room, the speakers may lose their remarkable soundstage and refined tonal balance due to excessive damping at higher frequencies. Given its significant bass extension, Clarity 66 is best suited for medium- to-large rooms. In smaller rooms, the extended low-frequency output may interact more strongly with the room itself, while larger spaces allow the speaker to deliver a more effortless, balanced and immersive presentation.

What amplification do I need for Clarity 66?
To fully unlock the dynamic potential of Clarity 66, we recommend high-quality low-distortion amplification capable of 200 watts (in 4 ohm) or above. Because the distortion is so remarkably low on Clarity 66, high sound pressure levels can feel lower than they truly are. Please be mindful of your actual volume levels to protect your hearing and maintain good relations with your neighbors.
Placement recommendations
Listening distance
To ensure a cohesive sound image where you hear a singular performance rather than individual drivers, a listening distance of at least 2.5 meters / 8.2 feet is recommended.
Horizontal alignment
Although Clarity 66 is designed for optimal performance on-axis, facing the listener directly, the final result is highly dependent on your room’s acoustics and personal preferences. We encourage you to experiment with speaker angle to find the tonal balance that works best for you. A ‘no toe-in’ placement tends to produce a wider soundstage, while an on-axis alignment tends to yield the most even response in a typical setup.
Vertical alignment
Due to the tall radiating surface of the AMT tweeter, the speaker has reduced vertical dispersion. For optimal performance, your ears should be positioned on the tweeter plane; if your seating position is higher, use the included adjustable feet to tilt the cabinet backward slightly to maintain this alignment.
Room boundary proximity
While the Superflare™ port enables closer placement to room boundaries without typical unwanted artifacts, estimated in-room response below 30Hz in typical Scandinavian rooms is optimally realized when the speakers are placed some distance away from walls. Positioning the cabinet close to a wall will elevate the bass in general. If room constraints require close-to-wall placement, utilizing tone controls or room correction software can be highly effective in eliminating excessive energy and adjusting the bass response.
Break-in time
Our loudspeakers do not have any “break-in” period. Clarity 66 should perform optimally right out of the box.
